The Aggregate and Quarry Association - the AQA - represents most companies involved in New Zealand’s quarrying industry.Aggregate is sourced from rock quarries and from river stones and produced in sizes from tiny pebbles through to rocks as big as a table. These materials are the foundations of our everyday lives - for housing, schools, hospitals, factories and farms, offices, drains, roads and motorways.
Sourcing aggregate at local sites, safely and at reasonable cost, is fundamental to our nation's future.
